These market-based odds are updated every minute using PredictIt's contract pricing for each state. States where the market odds favor Clinton are on the left; states where the odds favor Trump are on the right. The electoral total for each candidate assumes the candidate will win the states in which they are favored. Each state is colored in shades of blue or red, according to the magnitude of the probability of winning. Each state has its own probability slider: Move the slider all the way to the right to set the candidate's odds of winning to 100%. Move the slider all the way to the left to set the opposing candidate's odds to 100%. The slider can also be set to any whole percentage probability between 0% and 100%. As the slider moves, the state color, electoral total, and overall probability of winning are updated in real-time! Moving one or more sliders "locks-in" the probabilities for those affected states. "Live" data continues to update the remaining states unless disabled by the toggle switch.
